Nearly the Same Day as Yesterday

I loved Namco Museum, but I didn't play everything on it.  I mostly played the games I was familiar with: Pac-Man, Dig Dug, Galaga, Rolling Thunder, and Dragon Spirit.  I also liked Mr. Driller on there.  Namco needs to do a new Museum with Tekken, Soul Blade/Calibur, Time Crisis, Ace Combat 2, Ridge Racer Type 4 and Rage Racer, Tales of Destiny, Xenosaga... Too bad it'll never happen.

Silent Hills on Xbox One?

I'd rather Kojima work with Sony.  Yes, mostly because I own a PS4, but also because we've been through this song and dance before with Microsoft.  They court a well known Japanese game director, make a game, and it all amounts to very little, because Microsoft doesn't have the hardware penetration in Japan, and their Western consumers are generally apathetic towards Japanese games.  If they couldn't sell an RPG by the guys who created Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest (Lost Odyssey and Blue Dragon), I doubt a Hideo Kojima game is going to fare substantially better in sales.  At least he'll get to make his game I guess.

I don't feel sorry for EA at all.  They're the ones who signed that deal when the PS4 was obliterating the XB1.  Things have kind of leveled off, at least here in America, but overall the PS4 still has a healthy lead.  As a PS4 owner I do worry, because Sony just hasn't had the best luck with it's internal exclusives, Driveclub and The Order to be specific.  With Uncharted getting delayed, and no news on the Last Guardian and God of War, if it wasn't for Bloodborne, they'd really be in trouble.  Konami has new leadership (CEO?).  That's behind this move to mobile and the lack of respect for console development and Kojima.

One vote no lol.  I'd probably get it eventually.  If MS were to get Silent Hills AND release a slim model for $250, it'd be hard to pass up.  I also don't want to have to wait for Tomb Raider.  The chances of all those things happening are pretty low though.

Retro Game of the Week: Kid Dracula

Thanks.  This seems pretty cool, especially considering what a huge Castlevania fan I am.

I vaguely remember that Konami collection.  It had no games that anybody wanted.  The best collections were for PSP--Gradius, and in Japan, Parodius and maybe Salamander/Life Force.  At least they supported Wii Virtual Console.

Idk, only Mappy I think.  I didn't really pay attention, beyond thinking "oh that's a cool cameo".  I miss all the classic collections that we used to get before companies realized they could just sell us everything one game at a time.  Namco Museum, the Capcom Classics Collections, SNK Arcade Classics vol. 1 (still waiting for vol. 2), Sega Genesis Collection.... those were great, and a good value considering they contained 30-40 games for $20.  Now they charge us $5-10 per game via download.  I'd kill for a Konami collection or a Capcom fighting game collection with all their forgotten games like Star Gladiator/Plasma Sword, Rival Schools/Project Justice, Power Stone, Tech Romancer, Cyber Bots, etc.  While I'm dreaming, a Square Enix SNES/PSone collection would be pretty sweet.  I'd like to get Einhander without paying a fortune.

I'm slowly buying all the Wii games that I skipped the first time around.  There were some pretty good games on there if you can find them amongst all the shovelware.

Galaga Tekken is awesome.  I'm still trying to unlock the last character (I was never really good at Galaga).  The ads make me want Tekken 7 even more though.  My favorite character will always be Nina Williams, no matter how much they change/nerf her.  I've been using her since Tekken 2 because she's so versatile.  I want to like Anna too, but she plays so much like Nina, I sometimes try to do Nina's moves while playing as her lol.  The only characters I dislike are Lili and Eddy Gordo because people always try to spam the same crap with them to try to earn cheap wins.

I don't ever remember a time when I liked EA.  They were always a Genesis first publisher, and I was a SNES fanboy all the way.  SSX was the only game I ever really liked from them.
