I want to go to PAX someday. Man, A Hat in Time has been in development for so long! Too bad it's not coming together better.

I always enjoy LEGO games at first but then lose interest as they go on (and playing them makes me sleepy for some reason o_O ). We've started several of them but only finish Harry Potter Years 5-7 and Batman 2.
It got into the single digits here last week. I don't want to do anything colder than that lol
I've got a new BaD theme and have been slowly prepping blogs this month. I think I've got seven ready to go now. Not even half done yet! I always like seeing what people do for BaD.
I imagine you wouldn't want to play the Yakuza games back to back because they'd get too samey. But one every year or two would probably keep them feeling pretty fresh.
I actually have DQ VIII on the PS2 (gotten from a friend who was moving on to newer consoles and didn't care about old stuff anymore; yeah, one of THOSE people lol) and so it's hard for me to justify double dipping just for portability. I'd love to get DQ VII on the 3DS though. It's such a huge improvement over the original PS1 game, after all.
I think KnightDriver was in that boat too.
I remember when the first new Wolfenstein game came out and everyone was singing its praises so loudly and we had people here on Pixlbit playing it multiple times in a row because they liked it so much. So I played it and...it was fine. I enjoyed it but felt no need to ever revisit it. Stuff speaks to people in different ways. At least you gave Gravity Rush 2 a shot!
Pocket Camp friend request sent!
I don't think Square Enix has brought the old Dragon Quest games to any consoles, just portables and phones. And, of course, I doubt they give a rip about the Xbox lol. I'm sure you and Mark would get a kick out of playing Magicka. The Vita is THE system for visual novels (other than the PC, I guess, but I give the Vita the edge for portability). I hope to play the Danganronpa games eventually.
Hey, I just posted a blog like this lol. Looks like you made the most of the time you had. I've already got several great Switch games to play (more Odyssey, Cave Story+, and Axiom Verge) and still need Breath of the Wild. What a great system. I completely forgot about Specter of Torment until late in December. I'm looking forward to playing that.
We used to hit up the local Goodwills every other week or so but it's hard to find the time anymore, plus we rarely ended up using the stuff we bought! Bargain hunting is fun though.
