I'm more of a cat person. If we can figure out where to put the litter box so that our little kids won't get in it, we're hoping to get one sometime soon. But that's scary stuff though.
It was cool when co-op shooters were suddenly a big thing in the 360 era. I wish I could have played more of them. Never played either Kane & Lynch game though.
I got this for my wife for her birthday (which, ironically, was on the exact day this released) because she loved Banjo-Kazooie was much as a kid, but she's been so busy first with Mass Effect Andromeda and then ESO: Morrowind that she hasn't started it yet -___-
I can't imagine streaming, personally. It seems like an extra layer of stress on top of playing. But if you like doing it, more power to you!

My favorite game I've played so far this year is Gravity Rush 2. You really ought to give that one a try, Cary. I just started playing Arkanoid vs. Space Invaders yesterday and really like it. I was gonna right up a short impressions blog but havent had a chance yet.
Even though there are some interesting things in July, it's nothing I'm willing spend full price on. August (Raiden V and Yakuza Kiwami) and September (Destiny 2 and Metroid) are gonna be expensive months.
The main thing is how often bad guys drop upgrade pods. It's not terribly difficult to get back up to full power. Usually if you die in a Gradius game and go down to your starting pea shooter, you're sunk
