I should play a Silent Hill game one of these days. I played a Silent Hill 3 demo from a PSM disc that scared the crap out of me, and I've seen my brother play parts of the first couple, but I just wasn't old or interested enough when they all came out to play the real games myself. It does sound like an interesting series.
Too bad the HD doesn't add much. I've been watching the Game Grumps play Wind Waker HD in 1080p on my laptop, and it initialy looked amazing, but now I'm like "I'm fine with my Gamecube version."
Yeah, I can understand where you're coming from, especially after reading the second book. I think I sympathize with her because when you read the books, it's her internal monologue and perspective, and I think many people would realistically act similar in such a tough situation. Hard-headed as she is, she's a tough cookie thought. But Peeta is a much more of a hero type character than anyone else in the series, I will say that.
Come to think of it though, everything you mentioned is why Korra got so irritating to me in the second season.
Bottom line, I totally get where you're coming from. Why it bothers me more with Korra than with Katniss, I don't know, but they both definitely have their faults.
Since the new consoles are out, this is the perfect time to get a 360 or PS3 at a good price, but I wonder if I'll just buy games for my laptop instead.
Glad to hear you're enjoying the 360. And you reminded me, I need to make my Christmas list and take a trip to Target soon.
I actually like that song quite a bit. Mostly, I think it's the fact it's a newer pop song that actually has some excitement to it. Some of the stuff coming out is just getting more bland and boring. I was ok with Lorde's "Royals" at first, and the station I managed even plays it, but after a while there's only so much I can take of songs that are that low-key.
And 200 pages a week? Holy shibbity! What was the class and the book?
Yeah, Trigun and Bebop both did better over here than in Japan, I've heard. I thought the animation in Trigun was consistently "meh," but the story and characters made up for it in spades.
If you have Netflix, the movie's animation is miles and miles and miles beyond that of the series.
Oddly enough, I felt the best in the beginning, although really drowsy. I guess there was one day early on where I felt more anxious than usual and had to go for a walk to save my life pretty much (I'm exaggerating, just felt really tense), but glad you got it figured out as well, and thanks for the well wishes!
Might be an American thing, but the second one is traditionally played at graduation ceremonies. The first one is a song from the 90s about graduating that people love or hate, but it's really popular around graduation time.
Yeah, the older you get, the younger everyone else seems. And shorter.
I can't add you or be an old fart, so I just farted instead.
