Yeah, I used to be a loyal Nintendo sheep, but I stopped with DS. Although I may get 3DS, but with a premium Wii U being only $50 less than PS4, I have to go PS4. Of course, X looks awesome, and it has great games, so I hope you enjoy it.

Sorry you're stuck in DoS. I'm having the same issue with Spirit Tracks on DS. I look up Youtube videos that are where I'm at, and it's just like, wait, what are you ... gaaahhhh!
Well, I guess you're lucky then. Apparently it was firmware update 4.45, but they've since rolled back to 4.41.
I don't blame you, but I'm patient; I can wait at least until after launch for a new one of these things.
I'm with you, I'm still leaning PS4, but now it will be about games ... and not buying anything until January or so, depending on what issues these things have out of the gate, and so I can get in on those post-Christmas sales. 
Yeah, I would get 7 if I upgraded to a PC. I'm still leaning a bit towards PS4, but this makes Xbox One a viable option once again.

Yeah, I think they designed it around Kinect, so I think you're right. Hey, it's a neat little piece of equipment, just not sure I want it, but the early adopters can figure that out for me. lol
I am taking that to mind as well.
