Well, I quit, so it's not really something for now. lol But there is a warehouse job, a library clerk job I've applied to, and I have an infomercial guy job interview Friday, so wish me luck!

Yeah, I just clicked that piece of film icon in the blog editor and pasted the link in the dialog box that pops up. It showed a Flash video being there, but turned into a white blank when I posted the blog.

I'm trying with the blip embed code, and we'll see if I can refresh a few times to make it show.

I only ever watched an LP of Heavy Rain with the good ending, but that's interesting cause what you just wrote illustrates the main point of differentiation discussed in the video I posted between games and other mediums: choice.

That's what I think too, it's just that I can point to books and movies, even TV shows that have challenged or shaped my views in a significant way, but can't think of video games that did the same for me.

That's not to say they can't or won't, but I'm curious what experiences people have had with games that really gone beyond mere entertainment in that way. I might want to check some out.

I wish I had found that game myself, then. I probably could have stuck with the door-to-door thing if I had something to alleviate my anxiety.

Everyone keeps wishing me not to be so busy, and I want to be busy doing something other than shooting my resume in every direction, dammit! lol Granted, my fault at this point for quitting a door-to-door job, but more opportunities have opened up. Here's hoping. Not to say I won't be wishing I weren't so busy when something happens, but right now, I just need not to feel that unemployed shame.

Funny you say that about Dredd, I thought the movie was pretty decent myself. I mean Raid: Redemption was a lot better in my opinion, but I really enjoyed Dredd myself, saw it 3D in theaters. Did awful over here at the box office, but well in the UK, I think cause the comic is so popular over there from what I've read.

I'd love a new Killer Instinct, but I'm mostly interested in more console details at E3, like price.

And I don't watch GoT, but I know lots of people died at the Red Wedding, and the books get worse.
