So... why would they have it on display if you can't buy it? Seems silly to me. Also... love your photos. They're frigging gorgeous!

I... agree and disagree. I love it in Elder Scrolls games because it's detailed and exploring the world is often quite serene and gorgeous. I also like it in a game like GTA V because there are so many mechanics that make the sandbox aspect enjoyable. I'm still finding new things to do in that game...
But I agree in other games. I dislike Saints Row as a sandbox game because there's not enough to do in the sandbox, and the mechanics aren't tight enough to be a linear game. Most Ubisoft games do sandbox wrong as well, especially Assassin's Creed games lately.
But, we both love MMOs, and those COULDN'T function without the open world aspect so idk.
Also, I'm getting the internet back soon, and GW2 is getting it's expansion soon. Good time to try and get the guild off the ground?
Sandman is REALLY good. Gaiman is a golden god of awesome though.
And sorry, I'll get back to swearing soon haha.
Magic is actually surprisingly popular, and if you talk to people who sell the cards you'll probably find out there's a group who plays regularly near you. There's one here, and my town is kind of A) not big and B) doesn't really indulge much in geekery.
Finding board game fans is properly difficult though. Fortunately there is tabletop sim on steam which is looking to be mighty helpful.
I was completing them all, but then I got a bit overwhelmed and just wanted to meet triss so I did the main story for a bit. I might go back.
One of the side quests has a choice that leads to some brutal repurcussions. It was a fucking gut punch and a half.
Probably. Well I'll probably be back soonish. I miss writing and reading.
This is the best thing I've seen on the internet since the first time I discovered unicorn porn this site http://garfieldminusgarfield.net/
I have my gripes with it. Technically, there are moments where it just glitches the fuck out and makes no sense - especially during dialogue scenes. I've had characters shrink, appear in front of the person I was talking to, float around, and various other ridiculous things. I also had the game crash 3 or 4 times - and I'm playing on ps4.
Other than that though, damn. This is probably going to rank in my top 25 games of all time list. It's emotionally gutpunched me a few times and made me regret decisions I thought were right at the time. It's hardened me, punished me for being altruistic, punished me for being greedy, and just all round made me cautious and untrusting - exactly how I should be in this world.
That said, I've only just made it Novigrad after like 26 hours of play because, well, there are so many fucking side quests! And most of them are excellent, with brilliant pieces of narrative.
Apart from that, the gameplay is pretty good. A bit too easy so I had to bump it up, but I enjoy that it forces you to read up on creatures and use everything at your disposal to survive. On normal difficulty, however, it's a standard hack and slash after the first few hours - you barely even have to cast quen anymore! Nor do you have to parry.
All in all, great game. Probably even better than Mass Effect. Definitely better than Dragon Age. Not quite as good as daikatana though, but then, nothing really is.
I've started posting my older stuff on Destructoid. Their blogs are pretty decent, and it has a cool community, so who knows.
And cheers. Yeah, I get most of my reviews from youtube because everyone gives every game a fucking 8 and it's bullshit, so I guess I understand. Still I never feel like my reviews are that great which is why I stick to editorials most of the time.
Yeah. Hopefully it's only a backup and this site picks up more but I'm still enjoying blogging there and joining in on the community, so hopefully I could get a few awesome people from here to go over there if this does go belly up (and again I really hope it doesn't.)
