Yeah Ori has some really hard jumps! Right now I'm stuck on a spot where I have to launch myself around using enemy projectiles while gliding around spikes! This game ain't easy!

I always thought it was neat how they took some liberties with the Nintendo Skylanders characters. Like how DK is dressed like a stunt daredevil, and Jeff always called Skylanders Bowser "Cosplay Bowser." But the designs on all the Skylanders are neat. Definitely would've been something I would've been into as a kid.
I got my first vaccine the other day, too! Wasn't really affected by it. We'll see what the second dose does.
Right now I'm playing a game that was orignally on Xbox One, but now it's on Switch. It's Ori and the Blind Forest. Pretty much half of the games I wanted to play on Xbox One are now on Switch!
But here in about another week or so I'll be hopefully playing New Pokemon Snap! I'm going to post my blog about my favorite Pokemon spin off games in the next day or so.
I reviewed the original Oceanhorn game. I would've liked to have reviewed the sequel, but that never happened.
There's a bit of history about Red Dead Redemption that I find interesting. You know the first game in the series was called Red Dead Revolver. Originally, it was going to be published by Capcom, and one of the things they were planning to do with it was change the name to Gun.Smoke, and have it be related to their classic NES and arcade western themed shooter. I always thought that was interesting and might've played the game had it been called Gun.Smoke instead because I rented the NES game quite a few times back in the day.

That's still pretty impressive. I have all the amiibo and the variants (luckily there's not many), but one thing I do not have are the 'dark' variants of Skylanders Bowser and Donkey Kong, which were a GameStop exclusive. They also acted as amiibo figures and I do have the regular ones of those. Just now I found out there is a Monster Hunter Stories amiibo that is included with the special edition of that upcoming game. I hope you can buy it seperately, though!
A week or so ago, one of my friends texted me a picture showing off his new TV, which I guess he can play Apple Arcade games on, and the title screen of this game was what was on the TV. So I guess I now know what it is. If it plays like a classic 16-bit RPG like FF4 or FF6, or even FF9, I"m sure I'd like it. But I'm always really suspicious about subscription services like that. Like, they make it easy for you to sign up for that first free month, but hard to unsubscribe when it comes time to pay. Plus I already have a lot on my plate right now.
There is another Apple Arcade game I'd really like to play, though. It's called Pac-Man Party Royale. You think I would've subscribed to Apple Arcade just to play that, but that just tells you how leery I am about those kind of subscription services. I do wish that would come out on consoles. Another one I wish would come out on other consoles is Pac-Man: Maze Tunnel Battle. Right now that's exclusive to Stadia! Luckily I can at least play ONE of these exclusive Pac-Man games: Pac-Man 99 on Switch. I really like that one, and even got number 2 one time! I'll probably review it at some point.
Do you really have all the Skylanders figures? That's just as amazing as me having all the amiibo figures!
Probably a marketing ploy. If you say, "Gotta Catch 'em All," that makes kids want to get ALL the Pokemon, buy ALL the cards, get ALL the toys, etc. Very clever, but also kind of shady because it makes kids feel like they will never be content and satisfied with what they have. But that's advertising for you!
I had a Star Wars toy that was very similar to that Hot Wheels one as a kid.
Update on my vaccine: I am scheduled to get my first dose next Thursday! Now I have to figure out how t get there. The place that they're doing the shots is like, an hour away. Really stupid. I was almost debating cancelling and just waiting until I can get it at a local CVS, but I decided to try and figure out a way to get there. So that's what I'm working on now!
I remember one year at E3 or PAX they had a booth for Jurassic World Evolution and it was set up to look like the entrance to Jurassic Park. It was pretty neat.
