When EGM Fooled Me (And IGN Didn't)

Posted on 04/02/2013 at 02:31 PM | Filed Under Blogs

That's happened to me with a couple people I thought I was following, then I realized I read their blogs in the blog menu all the time, but never actually followed them. lol

And I guess I don't feel so dumb about the Zelda thing any more, seems like that tripped up a lot of people. Still, once I got back home, I did the same thing you and your brother did with the Sheng Long edition, and I thought "you got me again. You clever bastards." I wasn't mad, but I was sorely disappointed. lol

Decisions, decisions: Picking something to write about

Only sources I found Googling video game piracy had more opinion than information, so I'm hoping your more extensive research leads to better results than what I found.

LOL I read about that one on the Wiki page; I didn't even know there was such a thing as a Sega Neptune. Actually, I'm still not sure, was that a real thing, just unreleased, or an internet hoax?

I like WW's graphics too, but I wanted to see how it looked realistically stylized.

SA2 is a fun game. That pre-order bonus is the best I've ever received as well. You and your brother must be awesome at Melee, don't know if I could do that or not.

I never figured out how to use Korg DS, but it's capable of a lot ... hence why it's so damn confusing to someone like me who's only played drums, guitar, and piano, and only one of those decently. lolI'm still interested in learning how to really use it, though.

Love this blog! That's why I've stopped reading reviews until after I've experienced things for myself. There are exceptions, for example I watch a lot of stuff tearing Sonic 06 apart, but a) I'll likely never play it and b) there's no spoilers I'd care about. But I noticed a while ago, if I read enough about something, I form a confirmation bias towards whatever I've read and take on the writers' opinions as my own before experiencing it. I hate that; thought my mind was more resitsant to "the Force," but I guess not. Also, I don't trust people under the age of thirty-five that tell me Citizen Kane is their favorite movie, which is in the same vein as what I'm saying, but deserving of a whole other rant. lol

Anyway, I have yet to play 3 to 5, but I really want to play all of them in order if I ever get the chance; know of any deals on PS1s, PS2s, PS3s, and all four of the released games? lol

March 2013 Recap

Never played Four Swords, but it always looked like fun. I think all this Bioshock Infinite praise may just make me buy a PS3. That way I'll have a Blu Ray player too...
