We just got back from the library where I checked out two of Octavia E. Butler‘s books. Thanks to a Google Doodle this week made me want to check her stuff out.

As for going to the movies, I’m done with that. My wife and I went to see Deadpool 2 last Friday and we get up to the window to be told the only seats they had side by side was the front row. We said what do you mean only seats side by side? They do assigned seats at that theater now. So we said the hell with that and we will get the movie on 4k Blu-ray.
