Guilty Gear: Sound Complete Box

Posted on 03/07/2013 at 07:47 PM | Filed Under Blogs

The closest I've come to paying that much for music was when Bad Religion put all their LPs from the 80s to 2011 in a vinyl box set... and it was ltd edition, so I no longer see it in their store. Cry Looks like you got some damn cool booklets and a nice collection, though, plus it's signed, which is awesome!

Dug those two tracks you posted. Guilty Gear X2 was one of my absolute favorite games on PS2, and possibly my favorite fighting game.

I don't think I've ever bought game music soundtracks, but I did buy the soundtracks for a couple movies, MI:2, Spider-Man and Star Wars Episode I, and of those only Episode I is an OST. I don't know what game's music I'd buy, probably a Zelda title's OST or a compilation of rock/metal Mega Man covers if I did. Of course, there's tons of great video game music I'd love to have, I'm just not sure what I'd buy in terms of OSTs.

Not having to choose a class or something at the outset does sound awesome, I hate starting with a class I end up hating. I don't play MMOs (don't have the equipment to, really, unless it's Farmville, but I have no interest in that), but this sometimes applies to games I play anyway.

They're fun and well-made action platformers, I just happened to hit a rather unfortunate snag.

Amy Adams is fantastic! She goes from that homely girl in The Office to playing an absolutely terrifying woman in this, making it seem like she's in charge as opposed to Hoffman at times.

Hope you can shake the cough soon, I'm getting one myself a little bit. It is a bit hard on the ears though, so you may want to move away from any mic you're using when you feel one coming. lol

I don't really play JRPGs, but it looks like a fun game.

My only experience with X and X-2, is renting X and watching TheSpoonyOne's X-2 review.

I think the relatively silly storyline may have helped me like it, if I ever played it, even though I mostly avoid JRPGs.

Didn't know The Hobbit was coming out.

My friend Will is huge on PTA as well, his favorite movie is Boogie Nights, which I have yet to see.

I enjoyed both The Master and There Will Be Blood, but felt they both dragged as well, and I wasn't always sure exactly where The Master was going and kind of wanted it to focus more on Scientology, which may have been problematic; if I'd gone in knowing it was more focused on its characters than its controversial subject, I may have enjoyed it more. It was very well-acted, I actually had Joaquin Phoenix and Amy Adams on my personal Oscar ballot this year because of it, so I hope you enjoy it.

I actually don't follow Three Days to the point I know who's in the band. I should, as they're one of my favorite bands from the 2000s, but never really have, so I've only heard about the band "drama" from a quick mention by a 97.1 The Eagle DJ.

So I can't really give an informed opinion...

If you have Java, it's also available on nintendo8.com, where I got up to a space level with tanks and rage quit, pretty much just past where that video ends.

It's a very fun game though, good review. I particularly liked the line "toughest, most shirtless heroes in game history." lol

Maybe they should do a Red vs. Blue series with the Contra characters, as opposed to Halo.

Too bad Arnie's probably too old to do those somersaults in a movie now.

The Sims 3 on consoles

Can't help from personal experience, as I never played the Sims, but I tend to trust Amazon reviews, they've been heklpful for me in the past, so if they're mostly positive, I'd say go for it.

At least you won't have the hassle everyone else is downloading the new one on PC...

Blockbuster or Gamefly?

Yeah, I took a long hiatus from my walks for a while cause it was too cold outside, and I have allergies as well. I din't realize you were talking about an online service though, I'm just so used to Blockbuster being brick-and-mortar (I used Express, their answer to Red Box once or twice, but still) that I didn't know they had online stuff. I'll check that out if I get the cash necessary.
