I hope someday you get a chance to break out the ol' 3DS and see if you can still download Pocket Card Jockey. Such an addictive game!

I have a little Opa Opa figurine on my desk. I like the fact that Opa Opa was a bonus icon you could collect in classic SEGA games like Zillion. Did you know that Fantasy Zone and Space Harrier are set in the same universe? That's why you see Opa Opa in Planet Harriers. Did you ever play Sonic and SEGA All-Stars Racing? Opa Opa was playable in that one. Also in Project X-Zone, my pretend girlfriend Ulala from Space Channel 5 uses Opa Opa as an attack.
Aw well, thank you! My mom is recovering great from her first surgery. The first week was rough, but it was better the second week. Which is good since that was the week I took off work to take care of her! So I had it easy! So they still found some cancer lingering but they are going to do one more surgery next week to remove some lymph nodes, and if that takes care of it, she won't have to do radiation and chemo. I know it's not good to take out lymph nodes, but it's not like they're going to take out all of them. We just don't want her to have to do radiation and stuff. When I do another review blog in the middle of BaD, I'll try to update you all further. In the meantime, just keep praying for us please! Thanks.
I liked that Transformers Devastation was based on the old cartoon, but gameplay wise I actually liked Transformers: Fall of Cybertron more. I'm not even a big fan of Gears of War style third person shooters and I played through all of that one, that's how much I liked it.
Kid Klown just has some interesting history behind it, how it ties in to licensed games from Mickey Mouse and Crazy Castle.
Thanks for reading! Yeah those Animal Crossing things are temporary tattoos. I wish they were stickers, as I'd rather have those. Not a big fan of tattoos, temporary or otherwise.
Since the schoolteacher game is targeted toward kids, that's probably why they didn't make things too complicated in it.
I never really felt that Valentine's Day was awkward in school. You just gave out little pieces of paper with licensed character on them to your classmates, that's all I viewed it as.
What I felt was extremelly awkward in elementary school was P.E. Since I've been blind in my left eye since birth, there were a lot of things in P.E. that I had trouble doing, and public schools in my area back then were poorly equipped to deal with kids with disabilities. It was very embarrassing and awkward for me and instilled the idea in my head that I was horrble at sports and was discouraged to try any sort of athletic activity for the longest time. Silly notion, I know, but that's what happened. It's been only the past few years that I've come out of my shell and starting doing more things like working out and lifting weights, and I'm glad I did because in the past two years I've put on 20 pounds of muscle! I only wish I could've done this earlier. I sure hope public schools nowadays handle P.E. better, but with the way public schools handle other things, I kind of doubt it.
And thanks for reading!
I liked the music rhythm mini-games in Zack & Wiki because the songs they play are all from old Capcom games! Some I remember include the main themes from Black Tiger, 1943, and Ghosts N Goblins. But my favorite was Dr. Wily's stage from Mega Man 2! Some of the trophies you get are bonus point icons from classic Capcom games, too.
If you can help it, I'd avoid selling Zack & Wiki if you can. It's a pretty hard game to come by nowadays, and a forgotten gem on the Wii.
I'll give you mad props if one of your forgotten mascots is Kemco's Kid Klown!
Yeah I liked The Far Side a lot, too. When I worked in an office, I had many a Far Side calandar.
I went to UT in Austin for college, and the guy who created Bloom County, Berkeley Breathed, also went there and majored in the same school of Journalism that I did. So they liked to brag about him a lot since he won a Pulitzer Prize.
Calvin and Hobbes is a work of art. And even though it's not really funny anymore. I still like Garfield. Garfield was a big part of my childhood. A lot of people say Jim Davis sold out, and he kind of did. But at least back then, he sold out to high quality companies. For instance, the Garfield cartoon was done by Film Roman, who would later do The Simpsons. The Garfield animalted speicals would always win the Emmy that year they came out, too. And food products like Garfield fruit snack and ravioli were actually REALLY good! Only bad thing is my old cat Chekov back then didn't like the Garfield cat food. I was such a big Garfield fan as a kid that I was kind of mad at Chekov for not liking it! :) Chekov only liked one brand of cat food and it was called Happy Cat.
