In your opinion, are the Halo novels worth reading? Are they well written at all, and will they make the game's story not terrible.

My biggest problem was the save system, but that got fixed, and the writing is MUCH better from what I played. They really stepped up their game! Also it isn't as linear, as there are hub worlds and such.

I said choose both because I thought it would be interesting. Most guys will just choose hot chicks, I wanted to see why they'd choose males.

 Raiden got awesome in MGS4 and Rising though. Seriously, he's a fucking cyborg ninja now. He's got some moves ;p

You should try the expansion when your done. I haven't, but I've heard it fixes almost all of the issues I had with the first game
