I do really hate not being able to focus on work. That empty, PS4 ready space used to hold a 360.

That was... AWESOME!!!
If I had not been convinced by the guy at work, I would have waited until early 2014. We were seeing who would get a PS4 first.
I have been sying to get back into Sony's fold for more than a couple months now. It is so invigorating that I am so close at this point.
I had Battlefield in my cart from a pervious visit to bestbuy.com, and had forgotten about it. So that is coming with it. Need for Speed is the game that I really want.
The wait until it comes will be excruciating, but I feel a lot better now knowing that I have one coming.
I completely understand the feeling of consoles loosing their shine. What I decided to do was clean objectively look through my games and decide which one I actually expect to finish. I then cleaned out my backlog of all the games that I honestly do not see myself playing. Then I finished up playing the games that I actually wanted to finish. Now I am sitting with an empty place under my TV because I packed up my 360 last night because I am done with it.
I lucked out because a couple of weeks after I picked up my Vita BestBuy had a deal on the 32GB memory sticks. They were $65, but if you had the Gamers Club Membership you got another 20 off that.
It is awesome to be excited about something videogame related. I am sorry to say that I do not share that excitement about the OUYA. There are plenty of cool things that they are trying to do, but I am still skeptical.
A guy at work is super excited and cannot wait to pick up a PS4 whenever they become available again. I mention this only because his excitement is very contagious and I am having difficulty remembering why I canceled my PS4 pre-order.
