Now that we are in the future, the Metacritic winner is...
Dark Souls II - 92
South Park: The Stick of Truth - 85
Deception IV: Blood Ties - 70
Witch and the Hundred Knight - 55
Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z - 50
Somehow, I still want to play Yaiba the most because of it's over-the-top humor. As the main character says in the trailer, "Take a suck".
I wanna play that Killzone on PS4 so bad. One day this year I will be getting a console. Which will it be, Wii-U, PS4, Xbox One? I'm torn apart by the choices.
I played a bit on it on PSP but was scared off by the complexity of it. I will return though. I love SRPGs.
I have GS and GS: Lost Age on GBA in my backlog. Can't wait to dive in.
I'll be tempted by Elder Scrolls Online when it comes to consoles. I may play Path of Exile on PC sometime. I think that's an MMO.
I have the first BOF on GBA in my backlog. Thanks for reminding me of this cool series. I put all the other games on my wishlist. BOF 6 is supposedly coming this year, but probably only in Japan and only on iOS/Android/PC according to wiki. Maybe we'll get it in 2015. I'll be watching for that.
I'm tired of the gritty realism and darkness in movies lately, like the Batman movies, and I'm usually turned off by a game with serious or disturbing overtones like Last of Us or Walking Dead. I like weirdness and humor in my games. I don't want to be reminded of the horrors of real life and bad human behavior. I can watch the news for that any day of the week for free.
Wow, that's some levels. My buddy is just starting UVHM, so that's probably why he hasn't leveled as fast. He likes to run-and-gun like he was on God Mode in Doom. You don't get much experience for that as I like to remind him every few minutes.
The game tells you play time on the screen when you choose a character's save file. (I forget what they call that in the game). I've been very conscious of play time as of late. I like recording how long I play a game and then comparing it to other games I've played at the end of the year.
Ha! The Konami code but in hexidecimal. Gotta love that. And since you mentioned spagetti and meatballs.
That's some serious S & M for ya. Just look at those dumplings of deliciousness. Drool...
