Guess that I am going to have to quick finish up El Shaddai.

If you want a Metroid style game, definitely go after Steamworld Dig if you have not done so yet.   

I am secretly hoping that Rocksteady is working on a Superman game... 

I am actually wondering how much time they actually spent on Arkham Origins.  WB Montreal ported Arkham City to the Wii U and that was released last year.  Did they work on both games concurrently, or did they start Arkham Origins after they finished the port.  While Blackgate had its share of problems, I did enjoy it.  I will keep an eye out for whatever Armature is working on next. 

I think that the nice thing about favourites lists is the fact that you do not need to go by critical or commercial success.  So, some of the lesser talked about games end up on these lists.

Every year I contemplate picking up the new COD, and every year I never do.  Well,  Black Ops was the only exception

I had this very hopeful thought.  I was wondering if Retro Studios chose to do another Donkey Kong because they wanted to hone their 2D platforming skills.  Making themselves ready to work on a 2D Metroid.

Some games I prefer as a single serving experience.  I loved Dead Space 2, but if I am honest with myself I am never going to play the game ever again.  

I will probably get a ps4 once it gets a price cut.  If that is 4 years down the road, then so be it.

I will have a list and all later.  Since this is my third 360, most of the games are from the past 3 years because I cleaned house when I lost or got rid of my other 360s.  I do still have a semi-collector's mindset.  I just tend to collect only my favourite games.
