What a year! Shadows of the Empire is a game I am afraid to revisit. I played it so much and beat it on every difficulty. But I fear it will not hold up at all today. My favorite parts were the flying levels (like the battle for Hoth) which have been done so much better by the Rogue Squadron games. I'd hate to tarnish the great memories of I have of Shadows of the Empire.
Guesting is one of the big podcaster milestones...right? Next up: Patreon! Lol
It was definitely a surprise but Marinet is getting old, so it makes sense. I wonder if they will have someone try to imitate that voice going forward or if they will let it be different. I guess we'll get our first taste with Mario Wonder in a few months.
That's some FPS whiplash going between games made so many years apart! I think Old Blood is the only one of the newer Wolfensteins that I don't own but I've only played the first one.
I never played the DLC. I heard it was quite different from the main game. The game ended on such an odd cliffhanger. I've always been curious where they would take it.
Play more Hades. Play more Hades now!
The developers made the bits between runs feel meaningful, which is no smal feat.
I see now that I failed to actually mention Alien Soldier by name in that comment but it probably wasn't hard to figure out. I'll have to check out the Thunder Force soundtrack.
When I played Sonic Mania, which is so beloved by the Sonic community, I finally realized that I just don't enjoy 2D Sonic very much. I've dabbled in Sonic 2 and 3 and feel like I ought to play them (best Sonic games, historically important, blah blah blah) but I don't have any plans to anymore because I just don't think I will like them very much.
