Yea the Genesis had all the Phantasy Stars which could keep you busy for awhile. And Shining Force. Along with the huge library of Beat'em ups and low key platformers.

Thanks man, Yea your friend seems really busy and I have heard that it is an industry trend. I think the early sonic was amazing but the newer stuff is just trying to cash on the name. I really liked Sonic and Knuckles for the Genesis and even the Sonic Adventure Games for the Dreamcast. My favorite games were World of Illusion starring Mickey and Donald, Rocket Knight Adventures, NBA Jam and Xmen 2: Clone Wars. The first two were solid platformers and World of Illusion had co-op so my sister and I would always play. I love the White Ea Sports boxes I think they are just really slick. X-Men 2: Clone Wars has really cool box art. I like the Golden Axe Series art, the fantasy elements are right up my alley. The look of the black grid style box art is amazing, but my least favorite design in general is the games that did not include the grids.
Well I use to not have a digital backlog but thanks to Games with Gold it is slowly but surely building. I don't have a steam acount for this exact reason that I would have a massive backlog. I have a pretty big one on consoles but I can physically pick them up and finish them which helps me.
But you're lame comments are awesome so they are definitely welcome. I am liking the One and it is real interesting. I am going to have a thoughts blog during BaD so be on the lookout for that.
Thank you very much, I'll be adding more now and the Xbox One is interesting to say the least haha. I will have a thought piece on it during the BaD.
That is what I loved about this community over others is that, everyone is really friendly. Thanks Snee.
I think that developers of JRPGs are realizing that they the genre doesn't have a lot of lower level entry points. Those are all series known for their hardcore nature. I prefer having very hard rpgs but that's not going to appeal to a lot of gamers. It is developing a good marketing strategy, especially Fire Emblem seeing how well it did.
At least you're spending your time with good games. Etrain Odyssey is something I have been fairly interested in. I don't know much about the game the series and I always forget to look into more. I heard many great things about this one and apparently introduced many people to the series. I love dungeon crawlers so that is what appeals to me so much and the fact that it is handheld.
Happy Gobble Gobble Day!!!
Thanks, I really appreciate it. Yea it sure does make you appreciate the little things and how important vision is haha.
