Zone of the Enders Sequel Confirmed

I've only played the multiplayer of the second one. It reminded me of Virtual On, but quicker and more fun. I'm ready to play these after all that.

Are We Entitled to Diablo III?

Michael117. I agree with you mostly, but in the middle when you talk about the online connection and piracy you're a little murky in what you're trying to say.

I agree with everything you said, I think.

I can't stand when armor creates changes in appearance if it means that you're stuck with one suit at the end-game that's better than the rest. I can't stand it. For me, the alteration of how a character looks is rarely a decision in the gear I equip in various circumstances, but it really annoys me when a company goes through tons of time to make so many different armors, and end/post-game, you're stuck with just one that's really worth it.

Wii U Tablet Gets a New Look

So, those squares. One looks like a button, the other practically looks like a decoration. Since the Wii U has near-field communications (NFC) capabilities, it's fair to say that sucker could use an indicator of where to put the items with which it communicates. The Rayman Legends leaked trailer had the kids place the Ubisoft characters on the screen. I don't buy that. I think it used an earlier version of the controller. Anyway, I think the left square contains the NFC receiver. Makes sense to me.

The one on the right, by the home and power buttons, is probably something simpler. Part of the goal with the Wii U is to allow people to play games without taking up the TV. I think that button probably is just a quick button meant to bring what's on the TV screen to the Wii U screen.

Those are my guesses. Hooray!

Issue 87: Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition '13

I intend to replace the HDD with a more sizeable one of my own, so that's not a major issue. I have one that would fit.

I think I may be able to trade a new PS3 for the launch PS3 my bro-in-law owns, though. It could work out nicely if he accepts the trade. Also of note, PSX titles are backwards compatible with all PS3s.

I think he's saying that Capcom has seemingly killed off Mega Man since then.

It's not just "Why not wait for the possible next version?" in Capcom's case. They've had a history of times where they've literally announced the better version before they released the first one. Case in point is literally shown with Street Fighter X Tekken, where the Vita version launches with a dozen extra characters that will otherwise require DLC payment to use in the future.

More than that, because of these constant game updates, the price of the original games can drop tremendously. If you're on a budget, it wouldn't be a terrible idea to wait for the enhanced title, then buy the original, if said original was deemed good enough.

Oh, and there's still more: Capcom has a history of promising features in the first version, but then failing to deliver said features, withholding them for the updated title. Given this, it isn't even a case of buying the first iteration of a game. It's the case where those who buy the initial edition lose out on promised features, like the spectator mode promised to be included in Marvel Vs. Capcom 3.

Anyway, my alternative is to just sell one game. Have people pay for the updates, for real. Make them notable and noteworthy, and actually start encouraging fighting game fans to watch tournaments through avenues included on the game disc. Regardless, if selling 1.4 million copies of SFXT is "slow," Capcom needs to change something. Badly.

Dragon's Dogma

I played a demo way back at E3 last year. I don't think it really counts, given the timing, but I reached a chimera battle inside, it sounds similar to what you played in the demo. I really felt like it had mostly Monster Hunter influences with extra RPG characters in the background. Clunky-ish controls, long animations, and precision gameplay seemed to be the name of the game, and I kind of dismissed it from there. In truth, I think it looks like a good twist if you're looking for Monster Hunter gameplay. I may get it later if it has multiplayer options, but I haven't followed it any since E3. It doesn't seem like something I'd like to play on my own, though.

Thanks for linking to my review there. The last one wasn't perfect, but it was solid, especially for a first entry into the genre. I'll be buying this one, definitely. The multiplayer modes were enjoyable, too.
