Oh, that shot of Brady was hilarious. He takes every loss personally. What shocked me was Gostowski missing that field goal. And not by a small margin, either.

Overhyped - the first Assassin's Creed game. It was beautiful, and had so much potential and was such a letdown. Missions were repetitive and became more chore than fun. They fixed a lot in the second one, but I really liked the setting in the first one.
Underhyped - Beyond Good and Evil when it first came out, Lost Odyssey, Psychnauts, and probably several more I can't think of at the moment.
Congrats on your Packers beating my Patriots. That was a well-deserved win on their part.
Ah, the joy of new toys! I had a fun session of Dungeon Hunter: Alliance with my friend Michael last evening. Need more couch co-op hack and slash games...
Yeah, dog woke me up half an hour before the alarm was set to go off at 4:45 AM. I had to be out the door at 5:00, pick Jason up by 5:30, and drop him off at work at 6:00. Usually, he'd stay at my place, but he's dog-sitting his landlords' dogs and they don't play nice with mine. I never did get back to sleep. And he works in a mens' formal wear shop. No one buys suits on Black Friday at 6:00 AM. Last year, he worked midnight to noon and they had three customers between midnight and 9:00 AM. Ridiculous in the extreme.
I stayed home and bought absolutely nothing. I had to drive down to Portland and pick Jason up and drive back to Freeport because he is a retail wage slave and had to start work at 6 AM and the trains and buses don't run that early around here.
Another fine batch of reviews, good sir. I loved the original Sonic games, even if they were frustrating and I was never able to beat the first two. The third one I really liked, though. I might, if I ever get a Wii U, check out Sonic Boom. Doesn't sound too bad to me.
None of that Black Friday bullshit for me. I'm broke this year, so everyone who didn't get something purchased before I got laid off gets something handmade. I meant to be stitching away today, but I had to get up and drive down and pick Jason up by 5:30 AM so I could get him to work by 6:00 AM, since he's a retail wage slave. Public transportation in Maine doesn't start that early, and he's never had a driver's license. I never got back to sleep, even though I tried, so I'm a little out of it today. Been watching Netflix for the most part.
Romo has some of the worst luck. I always feel bad for him because he is a good quarterback. Unfortunately, those bad luck moments usually happen at the worst possible moments. As for picking him, Jason had a bad number in his draft and I think Romo was the best of the choices when his turn finally rolled around. He plays in a huge fantasy league, I think there are over 20 of them.
As for Soph, I happened to be watching her when coffee was poured for dessert yesterday, and she pretty much emptied the entire contents of the sugar bowl into her cup. Ben, Jason's youngest brother, and I just watched in silence for a moment and then one of us commented "Having a little coffee with that sugar, Sophie?"
Really like the light in that photo.
Jason won't be happy - Romo is his fantasy quarterback. I didn't get any football watching in today, too busy socializing with Jason's family. His nieces are a hoot - the fifth grader is no longer allowed to walk to school because she was stopping at Tony's Donuts on the way and gettting coffee for her and her best friend and the guys at the donut shop weren't charging them. First thing the parents knew about it, they got an email from Sophie's teacher asking them to have Sophie stop bringing coffee to class. Can't make this stuff up with this kid, she's an original, that's for sure!
