I still have so many unplayed games on 360 and PS3 that I really can't justify spending almost a month's rent on what amounts to entertainment. I'll wait for more games and a price drop before I consider buying one.
No pirates. Shanties were worksongs sung by all sailors to keep the working rhythm. I like to think of myself as more of a hardworking ABS than a criminal, thank you very much.
Currently watching Highlander (the movie, not the series). I think The Kurgan may be my second-favorite movie villain of all time (Hans Gruber is #1). Jason and I are celebrating his birthday - I made him dinner and an awesome apple crisp for dessert, and I gave him his birthday present that I've had sitting next to the door since June - a replica Scottish sword (hence Highlander for the movie pic). He thought I bought it for myself.
I've gotten back into Sleeping Dogs. I'm pretty close to the end, I think. I'm having fun with the open world stuff, so not in too much of a hurry to finish.
As for my weekend - going to the shanty sing in Portsmouth, NH tomorrow. It's the memorial sing for my friend Tom who started the sessions and who died a year ago today.

Most cars just have the plastic plug. I think you have to special order for an actual cigarette lighter now. Doesn't bother me, I don't smoke.
You just reminded me that I have yet to a) finish Lego Batman, and b) get Lego Batman 2.
Went with Sleeping Dogs. Next thing I knew, it was almost 1 AM.
I'm about to indulge in some weeknight gaming myself. Haven't decided if it's going to be Sleeping Dogs or South Park Stick of Truth, though.
The hardest stuff to lose was stuff my dad had given me from his trips to Australia, New Zealand, Alaska, and other places and stuff that he'd given me from his days in the National Guard, and the books.
That's sad, Lee. Their loss. Too bad you don't have any of the old photos, though. Bet your kids would have liked to see them.
Those old games weren't ever going to be played again, so they were actually pretty easy to let go. I managed to save most of the pack-ins, so not so bad in the end. The books and some of the memorabilia were a lot harder to let go of.
