Oh man. I've wanted to play Rage since it came out. Played the demo though and read the 4 part comic that came out just before the game.

Use only magic... hum... I was vainly looking for a nonmetalic weapon in all the shops. I'll try that.

I really loved Eternity from the Blue Dragon soundtrack. It's a Deep Purple soundalike with Ian Gillian on vocals! It plays on all, what you would call, mini-bosses. I never get tired of hearing it.

Awesome dude! Notice how Atsuma's look and animation is reminiscent of Gene from God Hand? And what's with all this magic-in-the-arm stuff? It seems to cross over to many other Japanese games.

Top 5 for Pixlbit Island

For the sake of time, how about the top 5 across all media:
1. Games: X-Com: Enemy Unknown [Xbox 360]. Why? I haven't played it but I know I will want to play it for a very long time while eating bacon.
2. Handheld Game: Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Shadow Wars [3DS] Why? I'm playing it now and after only a few levels, I already want to replay them while eating bacon.
3. TV Series: The Mighty Boosh. Why? So I can meticulously recreate every set design, art object and costume and makeup decision out of sea shells, coconut husks, and bacon.
4. Movies: Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls. Why? Because, like a five year old, I can have this running in the background to whatever I'm doing for literally an infinity of time as long as I also have bacon to chew on.
5. Song: Flaming Lips - Spongebob & Patrick Confront the Psychic Wall of Energy. Why? Reminds me of their captivity, similar to isolation on an island, and makes me realize there are inner worlds to conquer, giving me hope of personal growth and of getting more bacon... and there better be damned bacon on this island or all this won't matter at all!

Top Three Favorite Boss Types!

"Favorite" isn't the word really for me because all bosses fill me with dread as I enter upon their lair. My least favorite then is the one I'm working on now in Enchanted Arms. It's multiple bosses, one after another without a break, and each changes into alternate forms to make you fight them again. Epicly painful!

My next least favorite is Weapon-X in X-Men Origins: Wolverine. That's a boss type that incorporates all the abilities of previous bosses for the ultimate challenge. He was a bastard, but I beat 'em.

Finally there's the hunter Shaw in Open Season who you've been thinking about the whole game and finally face in the last level. It's neat to have a boss that's kind of ever present in a game, but who you don't meet until the end. It gives the game a movie like quality and really builds the tension. Luckily I was a big ol' bear in the game and gave that hunter a big ol' bite for the win. Still, he was a pain in the paw.
