Cool, I hope the Xbox 360 problems I mentioned in my reply to Matt aren't likely to bother you.

Yeah, that pretty much sums it up. I like the game, but I can't personally level high praise at it other than the fact that I enjoyed it regardless.

Resonance of Fate is just crazy fun. Man, I wish I hadn't gotten a busted copy.

I also played Lightning Returns not too long ago and while I enjoyed it, I didn't make it too far because I didn't want to start all over with the 13 day time limit.

Shame you didn't like Infinite Undiscovery, but I can see why it has a lot of other problems I forgot about such as almost no apparent direction and limited combat. I still liked it.

Resonance of Fate, as said below is very strange, and I can see a lot of people just not getting into it.

It can be bought on Steam for I believe $9.99. The 360 version you could probably find for a pretty cheap. I got it for about $6 Canadian.

Yeah, your right. Past Game Awards shows were very cringe worthy like that.

I also like the rarity achievements. A very nice addition to make achievements feel a little bit more special.

Lost Odyssey is also backwards compatible, so if you can find it, it looks like you won't be needing to set up your Xbox 360.

I also hope Dragon Quest XI comes here next year and on that note, Dragon Quest X. The latter is probably unlikely to make it here though.

If nothing on this blog suits your taste, give Blue Dragon or Lost Odyssey a try if you want a cheap RPG (that is assuming your 360 isn't crashing frequently, of course).

I hate when you just have one achievement/trophy left that you want to get. In The Last Remnant I have two achievements left. One, I could get if I sinked enough more time into it. The last (worth 200 gamerscore) I will probably never get.

I watched the Game Awards live this year, and yeah, it seems better than I remember years ago.

The Xbox version of Last Remnant is riddled with slowdown (thankfully it's not an action game), has longer loading times and is more punishing than the PC version, but I think a lot of that greatness still shines through. But yeah, the PC version is the way to go.

Yes, I have played Lost Odyssey. I fondly remember putting a lot of hours into that in my first year of college.
