I didn't play the remake, because I heard such bad things! The original Turtles in Time is an all-time classic in my eyes. My first SNES game!
I lived on that original cartoon when I was a kid, but going back to it is a big cheese fest. It's fun for a laugh. The new toon is a lot like the original, which updates. Like, Michaelangelo no longer says "cowabunga", it's "booyakasha". It's a fun show!
Yeah, it's too bad about the movie, but games like this can be a sort of "saving grace", haha.
I don't play shooters like this, because I'm just so awful at them, but everything I've ever heard about this game makes me actually want to try it. I know I'd spend the money and get destroyed, though, haha.

Turtles in Time was my first SNES game, except for Super Mario World, of course. I played through the entire game in one sitting on Christmas Day. I love that game.
This looks like it might have some of the moves from those old TMNT beat 'em ups, but with a new 3D compliment.
Yeah, I found myself on IGN, which never happens these days, and I saw an article with the teaser. I think it looks pretty cool. I'm definitely going to keep an eye on it.
It's difficult to tell when to stop. I've definitely put time into games that I wasn't enjoying. World of Warcraft would be one. I didn't get crazy into it like some people do, but I enjoyed the game up to about level 45 or so. Anyway, around there I got so tired of it and I just quit. It was like having a job.
Same went for GTA IV. I bought that game day one and when I realized I had to do things like meet up with my cousin and take girls on dates, I thought, "I do this stuff in real life. I don't want this in my game!" It's to date the only game I've ever sold off. I picked up FFXII with the proceeds, so I'm happy with that choice, haha.
I only just got my GB Player last week, but it's incredibly exciting. I played most of my favourite GBA games on my original GBA, which required me clamping a lamp on my headboard and aiming it over my shoulder to play most of the time.
I have an SP and a DS Lite now, so that's not really an issue, but putting them on the TV is fun.
Now I'm looking up GB Micros, lol!
I think we all land in this same rut. I made a stack of my unplayed games the other day, and I didn't even count games that I started replaying, and it was immense. It discourages me from actually playing them!
I have the same problem as Dandichu above, as well, in that the games I have to finish are often RPGs, which take so long. I walked away from Xenoblade Chronicles at 50h or so and now everytime I think about playing it I remember there is like another 50h+ left to it!
I haven't played one of these games since they were first released in 2001, and I only ever played the first one. I really have no memory of what I thought about it! I kept telling myself I should get the remake, but I just knew I'd have no time to play it, so I passed on it. Now it will become super rare and I'll never be able to get it for a decent price, haha.
