When you say Super Mario Odyssey on Wii, I think you mean Super Mario Galaxy. Even though the Wii had horrible resoulation, I think Galaxy is one of the better looking games on that system.
Because I was juggling both Wii and 360 titles, as well as the PS3 eventually, I probably chose to skip out on the Endless Ocean games. And it's probably why I'll skip out on the new one. Come September, my gaming schedule is going to be PACKED!
I dabbled in Plants vs. Zombies for a bit. That was definitely the era of casual PC and phone games, like Plants vs. Zombies, Diner Dash, Bookworm, Peggle, Bejeweled, etc. I'd like to try the Garden Warfare games, but I haven't gotten around to them yet.
The only reason why I have been able to play so many games is because I review them. And even then I can't play all the ones I'd like to. That Endless Ocean game is a good example. I never played the one on...Wii I think? And I didn't feel like spending the time or money on this one either. That's just the way it goes sometimes.
I kind of fell off the loop with the Ratchet and Clank series when the "Future" ones came out. It's because it took me a few years before I got a PS3. I have the first "Future" game, but I don't think I got around to playing it much.
Going out in general is expensive anymore!
The Sonic racing games they made back then are really good. My favorite characters to race as are Tails and Ulala.
I think I said it before, but if it weren't for my nostalgia for Super Mario 64, I'd say Super Mario Galaxy is the best 3D Mario game. Even better than Oddessy.
No, Rocket Slime was not in the Direct. It was a DS game where you played as a DQ Slime and went on an overhead perspective adventure and had really fun tank battles. It's my favorite DQ game and I wish they would make another. Technically they did on the 3DS, but it never came out in the US.
Street of Rage 4 is one of the best beat em ups I've played in a long time. I usually play as Blaze or Estel.
I played through most of Live A Live but found the last chapter a bit long in the tooth.
Yeah you'd think Sonic Drive In's would do a Sonic the Hedgehog promo. I mean, they even sell chili dogs there, for crying out loud!
