Lego Star Wars, 360's Answer to Ratchet & Clank

Yea. At times the camera is just in too tight as two people attempt to roam a level. There was this running section through a collapsing corridor where lava brakes the ground beneath you in Episode III that almost had us quiting out because neither of us could see in front of our feet. We finally made it through when one of us hung back a little bit to bring the camera out just enough to navigate the holes in the floor. They should've had a camera that pans out as two people move in opposite directions, but I guess that puts a strain on processing. Or maybe it's just a minor flaw in the design.

A month ago I thought that maybe it was possible I could get through all three games, but I only finished Mass Effect 1 and its DLC.

I find pure voice chat to be uncomfortably intimate even with people I know well. I haven't used my 360 headset more than once or twice ever.

Wow. I usually end up playing something else when I get close to the hundred hour mark. I get restless with the same game after living with it for a month or more.

Oh man, I would be so distraught over deleting all my games, but I guess it's not so bad these days. All your purchases are still valid through your account and even saves can be put on the cloud.

I had to redownload everything a few years ago when my 360 red ringed and I got a new one. It was mostly painless.

What I'm doing now is basically a LAN but using the internet as the network to connect to. It's good to not have to worry about server settings and all that. What a headache that was.

It works ok. You are closely tied to the other player so you can't stray too far from each other. It's a little annoying but not game breaking.

It totally surprised me. I litterally yelled WTF when it happened and forever had a grudge against Ashley. I think I hadn't built up my persuasion abilities enough because there's an achievement for using them to get out of an impossible situation. That may have been one of them.

Is combat necessary in games?

I got all weepy over this ex-slave girl you have to pacify in Mass Effect 1. I think it was less about facial capture than voice work, but it suggested the kind of emersion and emotional connection I usually get from movies, now starting to be possible in games. I'm a little afraid of the depths games will take me in the next generation. I've been unnerved by games before such as in Max Payne which litterally made my hands shake after twenty minutes of hearing that baby cry in the first dream sequence.

Man, I used to never worry about breaking my SNES. i would just slam the cartridge in without a care in the world. Now I'm afraid to even open the drawer on my 360 and I'm terrified of the dust that gathers on my PS3. What if it overheats! Gasp! Consoles were better when they were more like toys.
