Wow, GH, glad you went to your doctor and had that workup when you did, and spared yourself from permanent cardiac damage or worse. Glad to hear you're feeling better and good to see you here again.

Fallout 3 was great, although I prefer New Vegas. I also liked Red Dead Redemption.
Far and away, however, my two favorite games this generation were Valkyria Chronicles and Ni no Kuni. No other games came close to either of them.
Take care, buddy, and message me on PSN sometime!
All I can say is, meh. Was he one of the ones ragging on you on RMN? In any event, I think it's cool that he felt he needed to make a five-video series bashing you. Says more about him than you.
Hey, welcome back!
Meh. You had more patience than I would have had. I'd have simply told them, "Tough. If you don't like it, don't download it and move the fuck on," and left it at that. I might have left out a certain couple of words in the real world, but the point still stands. To the dude bitching about everything being bolded, I wouldn't have even bothered to respond.
That lot on RMN came off like a bunch of Internet tough guys. Constructive criticism is one thing and is a healthy thing. Coming on there and just acting like an ass, as some of those folks did, is quite another. But, you know, it's the Internet, and you've gotta expect a bit of that. :)
I'm actually of the opposite mind. If they can get people locked into always-online validation, even though Ubisoft mainly makes single-player-focused games, they don't need an online pass. Call me cynical, I guess. I kind of wonder if Microsoft's original intention to require daily check-ins with the Xbone and the expectation that Sony would follow suit on the PS4 might have contributed to EA's decision to drop the passes.
So does Ubisoft still require always-online for single-player games on PC?
Some of the rare stuff, particularly that which has no digital release, is becoming harder and harder to find. Tales of Destiny and Tales of Destiny II are now never less than $100 on Amazon or eBay. I was lucky enough to find both games locally for far less than eBay or Amazon. Panzer Dragoon Saga is impossible to find for less than $450 online. I paid $180 for the UK version out of a work bonus.
They're supposed to be making a Syberia III. I think its release is for 2014 or 2015.
