Exactly. Being the change will hopefully affect others in a positive way and we can take our culture back and make it better.

Shhhh..it will be alright. I'm actually rather interested in tablet gaming myself. There are plenty of games that make sense for the platform (release War Craft 3 on Adroid/iOS already Blizzard!!!). It's just a natural progression of the gaming experience.
That would be the case if I was making a game solely to sell it, which is not the case. I'm just having fun building it, and if people like it enough to perhaps produce it, that's great. As you said in the end, a Labour love is it's own reward.
Carcassonne is great - I actually have the app, so I play on breaks and whatnot quite a bit. Not as fun as playing in person, but the games go by quickly and scoring is much easier with the PC tracking it.
I could list tons of games to recommend, but I wanted to keep the blog on the shorter side. That being said, I created a forum where people can place recommendations and talk about board games!

Cards against Humanity is a fantastic party game that always goes best with alcohol. You learn alot about your friends. Perhaps too much....
Sorry was always a good one. There are other good coffee house standards too, like The Game of Life, Parchisi, and Trivial Pursuit.
That's a good man. Alien is superior to Aliens - whilst Aliens is still awesome.
I was initially disappointed with the crate (I did love the Alien figure though), but the Tribble has become my daughter's favorite plush. Can't say that didn't win me over.
What I do with puppies in my spare time is none of your business ;)
I've been clamoring for DLC like this for Mario Kart for the longest time. I think Nintendo is one of those companies that can properly employ DLC, especially since they only ever release a single entry of games like this (Smash Bros., Mario Kart, Mario Golf, etc...) per platform - we aren't seeing annual installments.
Instead, they're going the better way. Giving us additional content over the course of the next few years that would amount to entire new installments at far less the cost. I expect each entry to be about $10-$20 each, but that's not a bad price when you think of the amount of content we'll be seeing.
My wishlist of characters? Hit some of the basics. Get Samus out there, along with the Star Fox Crew. Remember the Rosalina reveal trailer? Kirby could have been hinted at there! Also it would only make sense that Diddy Kong be brought into the fold since he has a history of sorts with kart racing.
