I was so naive & sheltered when it came to issues beyond my small town I didn't know about "fake knock off nes games" for quite awhile. lol. I remember loving Mario Bros. and my first game I bought independantly was Mega Man 2. Needless to say it blew me away! The soundtrack was catchy & I liked the concept of absorbing enemy robot powers to use against other robots!
I feel the same about Dark-Siders 2. It's been such a great game so far I wish I had bought it sooner at full price thereby giving the developes a big thumbs up. Unfortunately most of us have limited incomes so that means we have to pick & choose what we buy "right now" and what we buy later on.
Regardless, you peaked my curiousity in Metro. As much as I've been loving just dicking around in Fallout: New Vegas the Metro games seem to have more of a sense of urgency and atmosphere to them. (Though admittedely some of the abandoned vaults in FO :New Vegas are very creepy too) I'll definitely consider picking up both Metro games once I have a better computer or more storage space for my 360!

Probably Blaze & Tyris Flare. lol. For the record, I always thought Skate was friggin awesome too! He was one of the more original beat em up characters to come out of that era.

That's a good but tough question,mang! Though I think the 1st Silent Hill movie is a "worthy mention", I have to go with Mortal Kombat. It's not even a "great film" it's just me and my friends were hyped for that movie as teenagers and luckily for us it was rather faithful with the source material and did not disappoint us! Again, it's no "masterpiece" but it certainly was good for what it was. By comparison the SH movie has more artistic value and I adored the loving detail that was put into the monsters. They also used Akira Yamaoka's songs so that's cool too!
I like your character build idea for New Vegas! Kinda makes me think about the anime Trigun for some reason! (Or Cowboy Bebop aka,radical Edward!)
I smiled when during our conversation you told me how splendidly you and your employers/fellow co-workers were getting along,Tami! That's what I like about more modest family run stores. They usually have a better grasp on team-work and being a supportive community.
