The trick is to never sell any of your armor that isn't metal, then you have it when you need it.
Honestly, though, I don't like the DS version of FF4 very much. It's too hard! I'd recommend tracking down either the GBA, PSP, or original SNES version instead.
That would be one way to get me to try a football game.
Maybe they should do Final Fantasy Football. Ha ha, get it?
You don't HAVE to bomb the fortresses in SkyKid, you just get a lot of bonus points if you do. Classic arcade 'risk vs. reward' system.
I wrote a blog about the SNK collection a while back. I got it when it orginally came out on Switch. It's the first time I've seen Munch Mobile on a home console!
And I didn't get very far in Typhoon either.
I've never been able to get into football video games, not even this one. Tecmo Bowl in the arcade did draw my attention for a bit with it's two screen wide cabinet and short, squatty characters. But that's it.
It was! Have you ever had one of those dreams where when you wake up, you think, "I have to write that down!" Well I did and I even posted it as a blog on 1up.com (yeah it was that long ago). Maybe I should post it again sometime here at PixlBit?
In the first Final Fantasy game, you should walk around the forest surrounding the town, fighting monsters until you get to level 3 or so. Then you can buy all the good armor and weapons and spells, then go fight Garland in that building.
But whatever you do, don't name your White Mage 'Cary' My friend did that and he would always name the weakest character in an RPG after me. Although now I kind of like white mages more, so you can go ahead and name your White Mage after me if you want. A few years ago I actually had a dream that I was a White Mage in a new Final Fantasy game. It was a pretty epic dream, too. I'm surprised my brain thought of it while I was sleeping!
Yeah, Konami put out a lot of their obscure ones in Game Room. I remember one I bought called "Don't Pull" It was a puzzle maze game like Pengo.
I like chicken, but I'm kind of particular about fast food chicken. I don't hate chicken wings, but I never crave them so I won't ever get them on my own volition. Not really a big fan of places like KFC, Church's, or Popeye's. But I do like Chicken Express and Zaxby's. I used to eat Wendy's spicy chicken sandwich all the time, but the Wendy's near where I work kind of sucks so I don't go there much anymore. But in the past, Wendy's has been one of my favorite fast food places. But as I get older, I like fast food less and less in general.
