Given that other gaming websites have yet to run this story may indicate that there is more than what we are seeing with the video. Infact Gamesutra tweeted that they had to pull "a" Xbox One DRM story because it couldn't be independantly verified. Whether that story was this story remains to be seen.
Sounds to me that this could be a hardware issue but not exactly the original DRM protocols talked about. It could be nothing more than a step up DRM restiction from the original Xbox 360 features. the explaination I've been told sounds like that could be the case. But if that is such then the new Xbox One feature where it is REQUIRED for you to be signed into your gamertag for the game to play is rather lame. I can have a guest play on my Xbox 360 without my gamertag logged in, or connected to the internet, and that guest still has access to all my XBLA titles I own.
Either way we'll just have to wait and see.
