You really do. It's amazing.
The soundtrack is pretty good, and the artbook is gorgeous. I'd definitely try to get them.
Haha very, very rarely. I have a grand total of 3 games for Xbox 360. The Last Remnant, Star Ocean: The Last Hope, and now this. I have an XBL account, but I'm never on it. I can't even remember my username. If a game goes multiplat, I always go for the PS3 version.
It's pretty nice. Would've been even better if the controller came with the collection. Wishful thinking I guess.
There are open world elements such as fast travel, item collection, and hunting. All of these are used to enhance the experience rather than try to prolong it with meaningless additions, just to give the illusion of getting a lot out of the game. Also, there are optional tombs that you can discover on the island, where you can solve puzzles for great treasure rewards and lots of XP, which is used to acquire skill points that can be put toward combat and survival abilities for Lara. You also have the option of scrounging around the island for hidden documents, salvage crates, weapon parts, etc. There's a lot to do really.
I really didn't think it would be my cup of tea either. But I convinced myself that it was worth trying, and I was quite impressed with the results.
I love Conan's Clueless Gamer bits. Especially the Skyrim one haha
Whoops. My mistake. But same here. It totally defied all of my early expectations.
All it takes is a little reassurance from me haha
