There is an amazingly fun section in a medieval museum where you fight with Claymore's and stuff. It's hilarious. Play it, just lower your expectations.

The first game sunk its hooks into me so badly when I was about 15/16. Then the second game did the same when I was 19. Fucking great series, and gets a hell of a lot of shit because Peter Molyneux

Give condemned 2 a miss, as the second half is stupid as shit and the ending will make you want to punch your tv. Silent Hil 2 is a must! Play with headphones or you're a coward.

NWP uses the term "wet"

The Evil Within 2 is one of the weirdest triple A games I've ever played.

I talk a lot more about my game idea at the end of NWP, but essentially I'll probably use Unity, at least as a jumping off point. It's free, it's easy, it comes with a prebuilt FPS model that you can tweak to your liking and most people with any experience will have used it.

 As for game world, I'm focusing more on sci-fi horror. Very geiger, very lovecraft, very gory. You can start going insane if you don't put substances like nicotine or something harder in your oxygen tank, which can cause you to become addicted, have withdrawels, and possibly more extreme issues such as owing dealers money who are a lot stronger than you.

 Stuff like that. Also, I'm a big fan of every upgrade having a use in combat. It's a metroid prime like, but it's also inspired by games like Quake and Blood. I want the character to start slow, defenseless, like they're in a horror game, and then end the game with the speed and moblity of Doom Guy or Duke Nukem.

Solid pick. Hasn't aged as well as some other games from the era but it's still something very... special.

When there's no demo, pirate it. Play the first hours to see how well your computer runs it (I suggest 2 hours because it will give you a full range of effects and whatnot) and if it works, buy it. If not, delete it and let them know they're a piece of shit.

 Don't normally suggest pirating games, but if there's no demo, they're kind of asking for it in my honest opinion.

What requirements do you have? Because if you can run the Witcher 3 you should have no problems with this game on low/medium and you can always lower the res to 720p and you'll get a stable 60. Or even 900p should be enough.

 Good picks for horror games too. Haven't played Zombies Ate My Neighbours yet unfortunately, but it's on my list.

He's a straight white male. He's a rapist. And no it's far from perfect (last ep is almost entirely a write-off) but it doesn't deserve anywhere the negativity it cops these days.

Ballsy statement about Mario 3. I respect it and the how much spunk it took, but we should still maybe section you to be on the safe side. Don't want another vegas here.
