Yeah it's good to hear you enjoyed this. I want to wait until I have a PS4 to buy so I'm kinda hoping they release a boxed set including Phantom Pain & Ground Zeroes eventually. I'm guessing they will but if not i'll grab this at the same time as PP. As for being lost story wise if you skip this game, have MGS games ever made sense on the first playthrough

I like it so far but turn based rpg's are probably my favourite genre.

By the time you finish, you might even see a price drop. I agree though, I'd play the PS2 version first as you already have it. Graphics ain't that important.

As far as the gameplay to cost ratio goes, you could do much worse 

Yeah now that you mention it, the lack of choice was most certainly my main reason for disliking the Crystarium system. If this offers more choice than i'm sure i'll like it fine. Time will tell.

Ugh. That's the worst. It's bad enough when you're save gets saved over but this is just cruel.
