that ia why I said almost equally. The game has issues, but I don't hate it.

Since it is my favorite series of all time, I love all the games almost equally.
In reality, every game I listed, outside of A Link to the Past, I love equally. It is really tough to get down and actually rank them. When it comes to series, I typically love all the games in specific series equally. I love Metroid Fusion just as much as Prime, Other M and Super Metroid. Same goes with the 3 Bioshock games.
Sonic 2 is the only one that really surprises me off this list. I haven't played it in years, but I do remember loving that game.
A lot more sports games than I normally expect from these types of lists. Nothing wrong with that though, I really miss the NES era sports games.
It isn't about comparing. It's about stating what your favorite games are, regardless of when they released. If you love The New Order just as much as you love DOOM, why wouldnt you put them on the same list?
I really don't think it matters if sequels are technically better. That is the joy of coming up with a list of your FAVORITE games of all time, not the BEST games.
Thinking back, I can't believe how much time I had spent with Soul Caliber 2.
I haven't played Wild Hunt yet. I started it when it first released, but never played more than an hour. From what I understand of Wild Hunt, I would venture a guess that I would prefer 2 to 3.
believe me, i know that Bioshock did not need a sequel, but for some reason I really fell for that game.
Chrono Crossing 2009: I thought that I was going to choose Shadow Complex, but then I remembered GTA: Chinatown Wars. I hate 3D GTA games, but I had a blast with GTA2 on the PSOne and I was so glad to see a return to that style in Chinatown Wars.
