BF3 was my first experience with the series too. I really like this game but the slow pace  has made me quit and come back many times over the years. I picked up BF4 from PSN so eventually I will get throught games.

Yeah other than killing bosses, the only way to get some good exp from kills is to piggyback a friend who is a few levels ahead of you. This is also a good way to get a nice head start with a new character.

I'll have to check my profiles tonight. If your friend has already logged 355 hours, I 'm really curious to see how much time I have sunk into this game.Surprised

Well, actaully by the time I completed the main game and all the dlc I was at lv43. I raided Gen Knox's bunker one last time and started Play2 (its the equivalent to TVHM in BL2). You get to start the game over with all you exp and gear and the enemies will be scaled up to you. Or at least sort of. I blew through the Firestone area becaue I was 10 levels ahead of most of the enemies.

In Bl2 once you hit lv50, the best way to get some levels is head into Ultimate Vault Hunter Mode. This mode can be reset as many times as you want. Do this and focus on story missions and you can level up reasonable quick. I currently have My Zerker, Siren, Mechromancer at lv72,Commando lv64, Assasin lv52, and Psyco at lv 41. But I have been playing it since it came out. I don't even want to know haw many hours I have put in.lol

lol! It really is a loot-em-up. I have been playing BL1 recently because I never beat the original Crawmerax. Thing is he is lv 61 and I am only lv46 working on play through 2. But I have heard he can drop some really good stuff. So its worth the effort.

Multiplayer can be a blast with friends. Personally I have just as much playing solo. Although raid bosses are much eaiser with some help.

I have almost picked up Arc Rise Fantasia a couple of times, but it was priced kind of high($39 used!) and I was not familiar with it so I held off. May have to take the dive if Game & Trade still has it.

I would have to recomend the Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross. Both games are classics with a whole lot to like.
