Opps. My bad. I should've mentioned spoilers with that video posting. It was one of Spoony's videos when he was doing his Ultima retrospective. He did them because he wanted to show and help people understand why he felt so betrayed when Ultima IX came to be. This video along with his video series on Ultima even caught the eye of "Lord British" himself.
Have to agree with this fine list of gamechangers. Be it for the good or the bad they have influenced gaming in one form or another. Each game could even be used for individual write ups on the pos/negs of how they've influenced things in the industry.
Very busy life I see. Good to see that the Vita has a place in your schedule to get your game on. All is well with the world.
Been curious about this title series too but I'm still way behind on some of the JRPG's out there. Perhaps if I'm lucky to find it on the cheap like you I'd give it a go.

It just makes me wonder what's the logic to it all when it the past the older methods were workable than trying to re-invent the wheel. I could see why someone would THINK they need to pull this off to offer something for a certain demographic. and that if others don't care for it they'll either fall in line or walk away, making roomf or the new demographic that could follow. It makes me wonder if the trade off is intentional
amen to this. I LIKE my hobby to remain a niche hobby that only caters to those that actually play them. I don't want it to go mainstream and be competely accepted among the common man. Look what's happened with user friendler games, gamers that now offend when a decade ago they wouldn't have been a blip on the radar given our gamer "use to" moments in gaming and this whole "games as art" travasty!
To hell with those that look at me funny when I whip out my PSP in a waiting room. I want go get my game on damnit!
Sniper Wolf looked more like a sniper than this Quiet sniper. I'm just glad I'm not as big into Metal Gear like I use to be or else I'd care about this whole issue. This just makes me glad this pushes games back into less mainstream and more niche. I liked my games where they were before they hit mainstream.
you forgot the Spoony One's Ultima retrospective on this game. He too holds this game in reverence. And he's the god damn avatar.
meh it's okay. But I have to admit that I haven't played this game either so tehre are no fond memories for me to link this song to.
