I might skip on the newer expansion this summer and wait for upates and patches. This game has been tweeked so many times since launch. I need to catch up on heavensward anyway. I might resub too. I need to level classes as high as I can before having to pay. It only makes sense to do it this way. Why pay when I can play for free. I'll pay when I hit a leveling wall. Right now I'm just grinding away for fun.
Out of curiosity, have you bought any new digital games from PSN store? New games tend to be very large nowadays. I had to make room for The Evil Within by deleting other games.
I was mostly referring to bandwidth caps, like if downloading a large game would exceed monthly data use or whatever. Also, the game had to patch itself, which also seemed like a large update. I'm assuming because it's on PS4 it's probably a bigger file than on PS3. Again, mostly a warning to those that have bandwidth capped.
PS4. Where are you playing? Isn't it crossplatform? The download and update was huge and took forever. I'm like lvl 10 so far. I'm just checking controller and PS4 performance. There are some limitations though, like I dont think I can join a guild or something. Its fine on the PS4, just a bit cluttered UI, but I can pull the cam back enough to see eveything.
I enjoyed the screenshots on Twitter. I liked taking snapshots of xenoblade. Are you still playing FF14? They dropped the 14-day time limit for free trial and can now level to 35 before you buy. I've been playing it again here and there. I should post on Twitter too!
The only Gundam shows I ever watched were Gundam Wing and MS8th team. MS8th team is more like private ryan with group of misfits on a suicide mission, very standalone and has few episodes, but one of my favs. Gundam Wing is the one I grew up with and watched religiously on TV, and that one is more about space colonies at war with Earth. I haven't seen any other Gundam shows, except for a bit of the early one that aired in the early 80s, but didn't see it till much later.
I'm not exactly sure that anime was better in the 90s, but there just wasn't as much of it like there is now and it was pretty inaccessible back then due to VHS format and pricing. I have my favorite series, and I think they still hold up today, but a lot of the stuff out now is pretty bad, mostly because a lot of it deals with highschool teens and are way too serious. Netflix has pretty shitty Anime. I'm considering getting Funimation or Crunchyroll because at least Crunchyroll offers Korean dramas which I watch on TV sometimes.

I tried a variety of weapons in the Toukiden 2 demo. The only one I didn't like was the gun. It takes too long to reload, unless there is some trick to it. Did you buy it for PC or PS4?
Well, better than Ys 8 demo, but they are graphically different so it doesn't seem fair to compare now that I think about it. I love Ys series.
No. I haven't played the last two Ys games. Oath is my favorite because I played it first on PSP and I think the compact screen made the visuals pop more. Second would be Origins. That speed that I love in Ys that you mention that feels absent from the newer games seems to be in place in Toukiden. Playing Toukiden gives me that fast feeling I had when I played Ys. I don't think newer Ys games are bad, but transitioning into full 3D makes all these games feel similar, whereas before Ys felt more unique, but it's also attributed to the camera view, which is pulled back far away to see everything.
Dauntless look cool, but let's see how well the devs support older PCs.
I'll wait for a sale on Toukiden. I might want to try out the first game since it's probably a lot cheaper right now. I'd like to see what changes they made too. I'm not sure how Co-op works, but there was a thing called 'joint operations' where other characters would should up on my map and join fights, but not sure if it's other players or NPCs.
