I see what you mean. Hey, why haven't we had an Old Man Mario game??

Looks like a stressful game! That stinks that it sounds like the people at the developer finally got to make the game they wanted and it, um, sunk the company.
It wasn't real clear how to capture the mid-bosses in this game. I did it once on accident, which was cool, but would have been better if I was sure what I was supposed to be doing. But G-Darius definitely sounds like a neat game!
I have enough games left that I could do this for next year's BaD but I'm not sure I want to, so I'm toying with the idea of continuing these on a weekly basis or something.
This is hands down one of the best soundtracks on the past decade. So good! And there's so much music! Not just the melodies and themes but the instrumentation as well is just so well done. The sadly anemic story kind of killed the game for me eventually but I still listen to this soundtrack.
Without any context for the game or show it's based on, I have to say that Irritating Stick is a terrible name
Yes! But at least that had balloon physics to make it interesting. I guess that's what I was subconsciously expecting.
I like Sonic Colors quite a bit. It's definitely my favorite Sonic game. It's not that the color powers were inherently so great but that the levels were designed really well to make use of those powers in cool ways. And that's why I was so disappointed by Lost World. The color powers were still there but they felt tacked on to some very mediocre level design.
Sonic Mania Plus is the game that really cemented for me that I just don't like 2D Sonic games. It is so widely praised but I barely got through it, not because of difficulty but just because I wasn't having fun playing it. The music, however, is quite good. No argument there.
Blue Sky Flight is like chiptune-infused jazz! Definitely a fun soundtrack.
Hmm, that's interesting. I definitely like the mechanics of Bubble Bobble better though.
