Congrats man! I can honestly say college has been the best time of my life. I FUCKING LOVE IT! I hope you do too! Good luck in Belgium too. Eat the fuck out of the chocolate! I also look forward to gaming with you on your pc! Ig you have a headset, that'd be awesome!

 I mainly hate this game so much because the first two hours of the game are among the worst I've played this year. It's all cutscenes and qte's, and the qte's are frustrating and on pc don't tell you which key to press. The rest of the game is better, but it's hardly great, and I was just either bored or annoyed most of the time I played it.

 Also, Kratos is a GREAT character in the first game. A lot of people forget that because he turns completely farcical in the sequels. He is tragic, suicidal, and slightly unhinged, and the developers wanted you to feel uneasy playing as him. Later on he sucked and became hilarious, but to begin with he was interesting at least.

 The thing was that EVERYONE praised Lara as a character. She's barely a character though. Also, your argument of "It's an action platformer," is like saying "We shouldn't expect intelligence from a movie based on a comic." We've seen better in the genre. We've seen Enslaved. We've seen Uncharted. Genre is not a reason to deny criticism.

 Yeah I guess the dark side of nature is  a good point, but still, it's bad story telling. I'd not care about that if the game is good, but it's not that great. It's hyped as fuck for such a generic piece of trash.

 It's not that. It's how quickly it happens. Like, within seconds, she cries over killing a person or killing a deer, and then the next person she's just like BAM! I have nothing inside of me. It's not that it happens, it's how quickly it happens. It's like me crying because I ran over a cat and then a minute later deciding that running over cats is fun and trying to make them splatter in hilarious ways while laughing my ass off.

Don't worry, I'm in the minority for disliking this game. So many people love it and I just can't see why.

Here's what I've had to say about in the past: 

 "Let me start by saying this: Whoever designed the first two hours of this game is going to the special hell. After I kill them in a terribly vicious manner that would make Kratos proud, of course. Preferrably ripping out their eyes using a quick time event, which would be an ironic twist of fate seeing as how this insufferable cunt is so fucking fond of them.

 Suffice to say I didn't like the first two hours of this game. There was less gameplay than Metal Gear Solid, and more quick time events than Resident Evil 6. That combined with the fact that Lara sounds like a teenager trying to fake an orgasm everytime she gets hurt, in a frustratingly annoying British accent, and it's enough to make me want to rip my hair out. Oh, and not to mention that on PC it doesn't tell you what button to press in the QTE's. it just says press exclamation mark, or press foot. THERE IS NO FUCKING FOOT KEY ON MY KEYBOARD! I'm pretty sure the only person on earth who has that is Quinten Tarrantino, and it's a custom hotkey to his porn collection!"

 One of the main praises for this game is that it has a strong female lead. Sure, if you count a completely psychotic sex symbol as strong, then you're absolutely right. However, Lara is seriously not a good role model, nor is she an accomplishment of feminism. For starters, the only thing that seperates her from Nathan Drake is that she screams a lot more, and is a lot more scared than the big male action heroes who don't need to cry. I mean, outside of crying and screaming and being in an incredible amount of pain, she barely has a character. We're supposed to believe that she's gone through this huge transformation by the end because she can shoot people without crying, but she did that at the start of the game. She killed a dude who was getting frisky with her and started crying over it, only to start killing off his friends with the precision of Lee Harvey Oswald. SHE DOESN'T EVEN WINCE! I mean this bitch is completely psychotic. After she gets upset over killing a moose, she kills about a thousand animals for what is basically the game's currency. So not only is she a psychotic bitch, she's also an avid hater of anything that isn't human.

 It's ok. It has moments where it shines, but for the most part it's uncharted without the meorable set pieces. HOWEVER!!!! This is just my opinion, and a LOT of people have loved this game. I'm just giving you my negatives to weigh against the ppositives.

  Thanks! And fair enough. Dota 2 does seem like a game that requires a lot of patience. I find that finding a good hero that suits you is key to whether or not you like those games. Do you game much on Steam in general? My username is whatsacow on there too if you ever want to game together. 

 As for blogging ideas? Well, it's the end of the year, so a few top ten lists should keep you busy. Other than that, blog about things your passionate about, or things you hate. If worst comes to worst, steal ideas. People care more about your personality than actual content most of the time lol.
