Random update 12/10/13

Cold and shorter days don't really bother me, and it's been snowing for the past two days. What I need to do is find a job...

Lego Marvel, for all its flaws, is still a ton of fun. I just get frustrated with some of the glitches and poor controls.

Thanks, Peter. I'm actually feeling better now that there's some snow on the ground.

Lego Indy is my favorite of all the Lego games. Could be because Raiders is one of my favorite movies.

Luxembourg is quite possibly the coolest city I've ever been to. I never would have gone myself except that it used to be Iceland Air's main hub in Europe and they used to have really cheap tickets to Europe from Boston. The whole city is a mountain fortress with huge parks that make it seem like you're ot in the country. And the people were very friendly.

The only Lego game I've gotten 100% on i Lego Indy. I'm just missing one achievement, but the game is at 100%.

As for Marvel, well, my favorite character is Daredevil. I used to collect the comics from junior high through college. I've also always liked Nightcrawler, just not how they portrayed him in the movies.

I loved the scenery in the movie. I lived in Europe for three years when I was a kid, and went back for three and a half months during the year I took off between high school and college. Never spent any time in Belgium other than between the train station and the airport in Brussels, though. The two cities I'd love to revisit are Paris and Luxembourg. I really loved Luxembourg.

Diseased and Nostalgic but Still Gaming

Glad they caught it early. Widow from 1up has it chronically because they didn't catch it in time. I freaking hate ticks! I work in the woods and am paranoid to no end about them, so I usually find them before they've been attached long enough to transmit their little nasties. And it's the rodents that carry the bacteria and not the deer, by the way. kind of like fleas, rats, and bubonic plague. Im so damn cheery, lol.

I'm with you on QTEs. The only game that I've played that I found that it worked at all for was Mini Ninjas.

Knew you'd like the new TR game. It's certainly not the best game out there, but it was a lot of fun. I'm stuck near the end due to the bullet sponge factor, though. And oh how I hated that parachute segment!

Three Cheers for the PS3! Part One: Disc-Based Games

Nice chaices here, Cary. I bought 3D Dot Game Heroes because of how much you liked it. and I liked Journey and Flower equally, they're just two very different gaming experiences.

Happy Thanksgiving All!

I didn't do Thanksgiving yesterday. Plans with my family fell through and I just decided to stay home and chill with the pets. And I don't do the whle Black Friday thing. I shop local and get unique gifts for friends and family or make my own.
