This game reminds me of Game and Watch games, except that your game ends after messing up just once. I don't really like that, but they probably did that to lengthen the game a bit. My only real complaint is that it takes up too much space, there is no reason a game this small should use 129 blocks!

I also kind of wonder why this isn't also available as a DSiWare download, it seems like it would make a better portable game.

With a name like Naughty Bear, who wouldn't blame him every time something goes wrong?

Is this the original PC version or is it a new game?

It's completely different. ExciteBots has a turbo button. You hold that button to turbo, you release it to return to normal gas.

AeroGauge is nothing like that.

This is one of my favourite Super Nintendo games. I'm not really into RPGs, but I'm a huge fan of Mario, which was enough to get me into the game. I don't think the graphics really hold up, though. I understand they were a technical achievement for the time, but the glossy look makes it lack the charm of something like, say, Super Mario World.

Not really a Pokémon fan, but I played the demo of this game and I thought it was kind of fun. $15 is a bit steep though, if it were $10 I might consider downloading it.

I could count the number of people who read my blog on one hand, so I'm starting from square one here. Plus not all entries are up to the writing standards of PixlBit, so I have to edit some of them. This also gives me more time to write future entries so that hopefully I can post these with some sort of regularity.

My goal is not to play them all this year, it was that my 2010 New Year's resolution was simply to get started on playing them. Gaming is a hobby and so is writing about it, so I do not wish to create any self-imposed deadlines.

There are a couple of changes I would like to see in a mainline Pokémon game for me to become interested in them again. One thing I feel they should really do is make the battles in full 3D with animation and everything like the Pokémon Stadium type of games and ditch the static battle scenes. That would make things more interesting. Another thing is lessening the number of Pokémon and making the existing ones more unique with some actual personality. Do we really need to have 500+ different Pokémon when many of them have similar stats, abilities, and moves? Plus then they could actually have a story to the games, making everything more interesting.

It doesn't look like either of these are happening with this installment, unfortunately.

Actually, by my calculation, it'll take 1,184 days, which is approximately 3 years and 3 months.

Is this your way of saying that you'd like to see entries more often? I like to have time to write, plus this gives each entry a chance to be noticed by more people. I'll take your point into consideration, though.

Please tell me this is in no way based on a real game...
