I just finished a run through of Binary Domain and wrote about it on here at pixlbit. It's short.

You should do a guide for Dark Souls, video if possible. It would be a shame to let that expertise go to waste when dudes like me haven't scratched the surface yet. I remember Legaia, does it have a good story? Interesting choice.

I need to go back and finish Demon Souls. and Valkyria Chronicles, not to mention Resonance of Fate. God I'm bad.

The dude in the video is an idiot, but a funny idiot. "I don't want your love cat!" I would trade your writers block for my insomnia any day.Got nothing to write about, write about tv or movies. Hence my post about zombie movies.

The question. I will copy paste the question I posed to Nick.

If there were one game you would recommend we play that represents everything you like about games what would it be? Mine is Valkyrie Profile. This game basically describes everything I like in games.

I thought this movie was pretty great. I understand why it's regarded as a classic, it influences so many things. There are many sequels, but I don't plan on watching the newer ones as they've gone straight to DVD, which isn't a bad thing, but I don't think they are very influential.

I know that Left4Dead has maps of this movie. The cemetery and mortuary.  I haven't played lollipop. I would imagine that oil zombie freaking me out as a kid too. He's pretty creepy and smart too. Especially in a scene where a girl locks herself in a cabinet and that oil zombie ties chains to the handles and starts yanking the doors open like an engineer or something. Pretty scary. And funny.

I liked Dawn of the Dead too. It seemed to have more of a political commentary on American consumer culture as well as being a horror movie. I think the original Night was the same way. Even the last Dead movie had a bit of an Occupy movement theme to it. More zombie shows? I don't know if I want more. Not more of the same anyway. I'll check out Zombiland anyway if it comes out.

Part of the reason why I wanted to revisit some movies was to look at the "DNA" so to speak of these horror games. Dead Rising was totally Dawn of the Dead and the whole mall scene turned into a game. Watching these movies is opening my eyes to all the influences.
