When it comes to exclusives i tend to go with Sony because they have made more original titles and took more risk. Microsoft seems to rely to heavily on making sequels of their big hits. I am not cool with that.

Yeah, I think the Wii U fits you well. We will just have to see what Media Molecule brings.

I don't think their tv services will help sale the system but I like having it on the side. I don't care about the cable integration since you need cable for that. If they had their system as an actual all in one hub without a cable box, that could have been more impactful.

Yeah, the game is incredible. I haven't beat it yet. I can fight the last boss if I wanted to and already took out the too guardians or whatever they are called. Luckily before finding out they would be there if I didn't beat them before going into memories.

Anyway, I love the game immensily. I still think it has the best multiplayer than any game out there. It utilized it in creative ways that I wish others would replicate. I think the enemies designs are always creative and unique. There is a lot I could say I love about these games. Right now Dark Souls 2 will easily be the game of the year. Batman Arkham Knight is the only game I can see amazing me nearly as much. I am excited for Destiny and Watch Dogs but neither I see amazing me as much as Dark Souls 2.

I completely think people who are not into Zelda would take notice and be interesting in a Wii U if From Software is behind it and puts there spin on the franchise. Demon's Souls and Dark Souls fans could easily flock to it. I agree though that Nintendo needs more new IPs that are outside their norm but Zelda is a franchise that could mix well with a mature audience if done right. I don't think it would be the answer to the Wii U to be successful but I do believe it would make for one badass game regardless of its benefits for the Wii U. Nintendo took a big chance with Metroid Prime. It paid off well. I think the same needs to happen here.

One other thing, Nintendo hasn't been great in adding communication within titles with multiplayer. I think it would be great benefit to be able to utilize the same kind of function the Demon's Souls/Dark Souls titles utilize without needing to communicate directly with voice commands.

They talked big about reaching their this time around. This would be one way to do it. I think Nintendo is stuck by sticking with this kiddy image. Its just like Disney who moved on to make serious movies like National Treasure and such. Nintendo needs to make an arm that is going to attract gamers who want more mature complex games because yeah, they are losing them with casual titles. Most of the big successful titles these days seem to be complex and mature. Games like Dark Souls, Titanfall, Skyrim, Fallout, Assassin's Creed are way more realistic and play with mature themes. I think Nintendo needs to do that. I think there is multiple reasons why Nintendo is failing with the Wii U but that this plays a small factor.

You say it would help the Wii U sale but Skyward Sword sold poorly with the ratio of Wii owners. I think overall they would do well regardless how Zelda turns out. Skyward Sword sold just under 4 million. That sounds like a lot but for the caliber of Zelda, I would think it would have sold more. I don't think it would push millions of units. The only game I think could make a major impact on sales for the Wii U is Smash Bros.
