Shovel Knight's the shortest I think, you may be able to finish it! I gave up on Persona 5. Was really enjoying it, but it's just so goddamned long that I lost interest.

I did play 1, but it was modded to have a map and better graphics in the ROM. I didn't realise till halfway through.

Have you played AM2R? It's really, really good.

For the most part I agree. Visually, Mega Man games hold up so much better than the most other NES games. They also feel fairer than a lot of the other ones I've played. Like, they're fucking difficult (especially 3), but unlike the original 2 castlevania's I don't want to kill everyone who made them.

 I still like the x games. I don't at all care for the story, but I do think some of the mechanical changes are still really awesome. Visually I don't think they're that busy honestly.

It really sucks we don't get Hulu in Aus. Seems to be some good shit on it.

I dig metroidvanias, but something about Xeodrifter just rubbed me the wrong way. I just can't get into it. What I played there didn't seem to be much of an exploration focus, which is what I want from the genre. I ended up liking Environmental Station Alpha more, which is basically doing the same thing but it feels more like an atmospheric world than a series of connected levels.

I hadn't heard about this one. Seems neat, and really gosh darn pretty. I really don't see the similarities to Zelda. I think Nintendo fanboys just want something to complain about.

I haven't read those Brent Weeks ones yet, but my grandmother swears by them. I'm reading American Gods by Neil Gaiman atm, and after that, I have to read the next Robin Hobb trilogy before Bilby yells at me, and then start the Kingkiller Chronicles before they make that a show, and then...
