That's why I rented it. I can see why people like it, but just not for me right now.

Turbo Horse: Defender of the Universe.
Now I want to watch the "Thunderhorse" music video by Dethklok.
I think most of us here are a bit too old and/or mature to use the term "fanboys" ... at least, I would hope.
I'd probably buy a Wii U if I didn't think I wanted a Switch maybe more. My tax return would pay for a handful of Switches, but I need to be an adult and save for a car right now. Still, once the library becomes more full, probably around late this year, I'll get one.
I know Wiis are cheap and I definitely want to play stuff like Mad World and No More Heroes, etc. But since Wii U is BC, I think it just makes more sense to get that instead, especially since I own a Gamecube already.
I actually have been digging Hulu. Think I'll keep it after free trial. Glad to see you back; wish it were under better circumstances.
And that is why having only Steam for a while made me come back to consoles hard. I love solving IT problems, but it's not something I care to do at home all the time. I had a similar issue with RE4.
Well OK, but.. Yknow it's better if I just don't type anything else here. To each their own. Lol
I do feel for you since power rangers of all things now has a decent rental worthy movie before transformers does and that's.... Unexpected.
The bright side is the existence of Pacific rim.
The quality of those movies has nothing to do w their performance at the box office or the assumption among certain in-groups that everyone feels the same way about them.
I hate those movies too, but they've become such an easy target that it honestly gets annoying when people act like they're somehow superior to others for not liking them.
Transformers performs well in EVERY developed country box office, so I'm not seeing your point. Lol unless uk is some anomaly in that regard i wasnt aware of. I don't like them, but i think nerds forget how popular those movies are in the mainstream.
I think I've seen most of sound of music. I remember being blown away by the nazi Germany stuff. Completely different movie than what ci thought growing up in that regard.
I love old movies too. Ruggles of Red Gap is easily in my top 5. Ed Norton had that in his top 5 too when RT interviewed him.
Cinderella Man and Chasing Amy are 1 and 2 for me, respectively. The 2000s Crash ( the one abt race not the 90s one abt getting off to car crashes) is in there despite the shit it gets now, simply because it was when i was a teen and just learning i started to like movies for the characters and not the spectacle like i did as a kid.
I've seen the songs but not the full movie or not at an age where id remember.
