Eh, for six bucks, it's definitely worth it if you're interested. I did enjoy the process many many times before it all came crashing down. I was going to play it again before writing my review and then a week passed and I realized I couldn't make myself go back to it. Until that point... I had fun.

Classic alt rock? Make sure you play some non-Blister in the Sun Violent Femmes, and a little Liz Phair to ease you back down.

I agree that the new EGM doesn't have that spark. I'm going to let my subscription lapse, which is a little sad. I don't have a ton of nostalgia for the really old days since I normally only read it standing in stores or at friends' houses. I started subscribing in the early 2000s and really enjoyed that era. Oh well, I have no lack of things to read...
