That controller looks like it avoided a lawsuit by about an inch and a D-Pad. Looks like something that should work really well though!

Fantastic trailer.
I'm in love with everything I've seen, heard, and read about this game so far. I hope it lives up to my expectations.
Side note to Jesse; the drunken sailor hashtag made me chuckle.
I kept waiting for Nathan Drake to show up.
Honestly though, I'm intrigued. We'll see how this goes.
Huh, you story is a lot like mine, except you have to replace guitars with drums. It's accurate right on down to my parents buying my second kit after my first one broke. I own my dream kit now after using the kit my parents bought me for a looooooooong time.
Prior to that, my main instrument was piano. I still play it a lot. I know the 'guitar guys' you were talking about, and I made a few of them crazy mad. See, like you said, the majority of them aren't musicans, but attention whores. Since I didn't actually want attention, I would hide out in my schools basement when I had free time and just play whatever I liked that I heard on the radio and thought would sound cool on the piano. I had a few songs by Oasas that I loved to play, Counting Blue Cars was another one, and Comfortably Numb by Pink Floyd were probably my mains. So one day I realized I was running late for something and went running up the stairs only to find a half dozen girls sitting there listening to me. Eventually I started talking to them, but I asked them to not come downstairs while I was playing because if I knew someone was listening, I would get nervous. They found that 'cute.' Back in school I was crazy shy. I never really became confident until my junior year of college.
Anyway, eventually the guitar boys started harassing me. I guess I stole some of their fans and they were jealous, but of course that's not what they said. The came out with stuff like "you play piano? What are you gay? I heard you don't like girls." blah blah blah. I didn't have to deal with that too long though, I was only at that school for a year. I'm pretty sure they would have started harassing me while I played to get me to stop though, they were pretty annoyed. Back then I was really frustrated by all this, but in hindsight, I really enjoy the fact that I got under their skin.
It's a prequil, and that's Marcus' dad. That's my guess.
Man I need to start playing Strange Journey.
Dammit Jesse, you just called me old. Seriously, If I could have one classic arcade cabinet in my house, it would be Spy Hunter. That's over all the serious classics too, like Pac Man, Gradius, Donkey Kong, you name it.
I bought the last reboot, and after the nastalgia wore off, there wasn't really much left to it in my opinion. I don't know about this one either, but that was only a trailer. The minuite I saw the land mine, my first thought was "dude, where's my oil slick?" We'll see though.
"The player will have to choose three characters to play the game with. Each character posses unique abilities that can be used to overcome a variety of puzzles and obstacles."
This reminds me of Mainiac Mansion, which isn't a bad thing at all.
I bet they had planned to announce this at E3 anyway, especially considering it's supposed to be released next year. Although I'm suprised a how restrictive the documentation is. At this point, I almost expected Bungie to have achieved the ability to release a game "when it's done" like Blizzard can.
That never occurred to me. Hmmm. Well I suppose that could be annoying. Maybe someone will come up with the idea that you 'unlock' the look of any armor you equip so that you can change your character's appearance without sacrificing their stats. That would be cool.
