I understand that. Last year's BaD was a little over 6 months after my mom died. Can't say I'm in a much better frame of mind now than last year, but I'm trying.

Thanks! It's great to hear from people who have done it and are in the process of doing it. I definitely plan on making my weight loss journey part of my YouTube channel down the line.
I was going to buy DQ VIII on 3DS, but I didn't finish the PS2 version, and I'm pretty sure I still have my save file, so I should just go back to that. Of course, it's probably pretty hard to tell where to go this many years later.
They have been saying that VR is like getting sea legs. You grow used to it over time.
How do you feel playing RE in VR? I don't know if I want to play VR for long sessions. 90 minutes seems to be my limit, but when I'm playing through a story I typically put in 3 hours at a time, which seems like it would be a bad time in VR.
It's definitely set in modern day, what with the girl reading on an e-reader. Which makes the black and white CRTs all the more bizarre. Apparently the director wanted to make the time period vague, but in doing so I spent more time scratching my head at the behavior of the teenagers than the monster. But that's probably just me.
Glad you liked the end song! I was struggling to find music for this one, but I recently ripped my ENTIRE CD collection to my computer and Splender popped up on my iPhone. I hadn't listened to that album in years, and I still love that band.
Overwatch does an excellent job of making you feel useful, even if you're dragging the team down. Beyond that it handles well, and the presentation is in line with Blizzard's overall aesthetic. It's probably not for everybody, but if a single player hermit like me can enjoy it maybe you should check out one of those free weekends when they come around.
Resident Evil VII doesn't appeal to me at all. I talk about it in episode 105, but I'm not digging the invincible backwoods family thing. Seems like a rejected idea for Cabin in the Woods.
Thanks! I have some big ideas for us this year, and the goal is to try and hit above our weight class and try to get some really big guests.
Same here, and it makes me sad that Andromeda seems to be going even further away from its mechanics and depth.
I cleared out the cutting room audio folder with that intention yesterday.
