I'd like to see Resident Evil done in the vein of Lone Survivor, where it's sidescroller with shooting elements and stealth. You have limited ammo and there are adventure game elements. I would play the shit out of that. Then again, I played the shit out Lone Survivor, and you should too!

Superman has been dark since the late 80's though in the comics. This is a fairly faithful adaptations (Changes to characters not withstanding)
I'd say the infinity gauntlet is more powerful... but I'd ultimately go with green lanterns ring. It seems easier to use lol.
